EXPERIENCE |
11/2000 - Present Fujitsu-ICL Systems, Inc. Santa Clara, CA CRM Applications Technical Lead Designed and developed a distributed marketing application using EJB, Java Swing, WebLogic Server, and MicroStrategy API. The application was designed for the retail industry to target promotions and offers to customers based on their attributes and buying behavior. This application was successfully piloted at a U.S. based international retailer. Responsibilities include:
4/2000 - 10/2000 Fujitsu-ICL Systems, Inc. Santa Clara, CA CRM Applications Technical Lead Designed and developed a Java API using Java RMI objects and Talarian SmartSockets to support a web based customer service application. The API isolated web developers from the complexity of implementing business rules, transactions handling, and load balancing logic. The result was a shorter development cycle and a more robust application. The API was part of an overall CRM solution for a major U.S. retailer and was successfully deployed to support over 1500 web clients simultaneously. Responsibilities include:
9/1999 - 3/2000 Fujitsu-ICL Systems, Inc. Santa Clara, CA Senior Software Engineer Developed a web based customer service application using JSP, EJB, and WebLogic Server. Customer service representatives can view and update customer loyalty information via the application. This application was part of an e-CRM solution offering for the retail industry. Responsibilities include:
9/1998 - 8/1999 Fujitsu-ICL Systems, Inc. Santa Clara, CA Senior Software Engineer Designed and developed an offer management application using Java RMI and Swing. The application allowed marketers and store managers to define and execute promotions and offers to targeted customers. This application was part of an end-to-end e-CRM solution offering for the retail industry. Responsibilities include:
1/1998 - 8/1998 Fujitsu-ICL Systems, Inc. Santa Clara, CA Systems Design Engineer Developed an intranet customer service application using ASP and COM objects for a major U.S. retailer. Customer service representatives can view and update customer loyalty information via the application. The application was part of a CRM solution offering, which was the largest loyalty system ever deployed in the U.S. Responsibilities include:
3/1996 - 12/1997 Fujitsu-ICL Systems, Inc. Santa Clara, CA Systems Design Engineer Developed a decision support application using Visual Basic and MicroStrategy API. The application allowed marketers to perform affinity, basket, customer, sales, and store analysis and report generation. The application was part of an OLAP solution offering. Responsibilities include:
