Currently providing searchable, readable, full-text medical books on the web for the National Library of Medicine. Three tier system with C++ server using an OODBMS and both HTML/CGI and Java thin clients. Researching different search and retrieval techniques with medical data.
Worked with NASA Goddard's Flight Dynamics division to rapidly produce graphical interfaces for legacy simulations. Single UIM/X generated C++ interface to back-end executive that could be configured to represent and run standard NASA simulations.
Worked with the Data Fusion group, which specializes in processing large amounts of varied data to infer unknown statistics, to semi-automatically maintain military intelligence database. C++ program to populate, maintain, and allow modification of OODBMS.
Created a generic C++ storage manager to be used in intra-division tool library. Highly templated, very versatile, component for storing (also known as serializing or pickling) C++ objects of dynamic structure.
