Research Area

My research interest is focused on Natural Language Processing and Natural Language Generation. I am currently working in Prof. Marylin Walker's research group at UCSC. We apply natural language processing tools to analyze dialog structure in order to understand various forms of arguments and effects of expressive language.

Current Projects

I am currently engaged in two projects: Narrative Schema and Persuasion.

Future Directions

I would like to apply Narrative Schema and Persuasion results to creating Intelligent Virtual Agents (IVAs).
