Upcoming Events

May Wine Tasting

May Wine Tasting is scheduled for May 6, 2001, from 2-5pm at Bergamont Station.

Join us for this fun event and for tours of the Buffy the Vampire set. The wines being featured are from Bonny Doon Vineyard and Domain Chandon.

We need volunteers to help greet people and sign people up for tours at the event. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Michele Ploessel at myshel@ix.netcom.com.

Hollywood Bowl

Get down with the Los Angeles Chapter for a Night in Old Havana on July 15, 2001. The music for the evening features the Buena Vista Social Club, Orquesta Ibrahim Ferrer, Ruben Gonzalez, and Chucho Valdes.

Summer Trips: Santa Cruz Trip

Most people liked the idea of going to UCSC for the Alumni Wine Tasting & Shakespeare Santa Cruz. Dates for the event are July 27-29, 2001. The Alumni Wine Tasting is scheduled for 5 pm July 28, 2001, with Shakespeare Santa Cruz immediately following in the Glen or Theatre.

Alumni News:

Kent Nagano will be debuting with the Los Angeles Opera September 12-23! He is conducting Lohengrin by Richard Wagner as his debut.
