Thanks Calum. (grumpy smiley) I wasn't ready to release yet (I'm mostly still waiting for full release from authors, even though most left the rather liberal copyright notice on their reviews intact -- I like to be certain). However, it's been pointed out to me by several people that I'm NEVER getting it released if I stick to my perfectionist attitude, so you may consider this the RELEASE NOTICE Synopsis: World-Wide-Web based text-and-graphic presentation of various reviews posted to rec.toys.lego using the official rec.toys.lego review format. URL: http://alumni.cse.ucsc.edu/~dulcaoin/reviews --- As the author of the "official" rec.toys.lego review format, I have been collecting all the reviews that inspired the format, were written with it, and even those that that weren't, since before I wrote it in 1994. For about the past 4 months, I've been working on a new format for displaying the reviews, and have placed several reviews in the format up on my (hitherto unknown web site) for some preliminary feedback from rtl posters of old (plus many of the review authors). I've presented versions of each review with frames and without. Also available at the site are the current review format document. The format hasn't arrived at its final form (and it probably never will), so feedback is welcome. I am especially interested in hearing from you if for some reason you don't want your review presented on my page -- editing comments are included at the site that explain what I try to edit in a review as it's converted. Also, they take some time to convert, so if your favorite classic (or even fairly recent) review isn't available, please be patient. the URL (again) is http://alumni.cse.ucsc.edu/~dulcaoin/reviews -- joshua -- -- Joshua Delahunty (dulcaoin@alumni.cse.ucsc.edu) RTL CMR/IRL's: 5 -- -- +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Kun det bedste er godt nok | +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+
