Welcome to my webpage!
I am a MSc candidate in the Advanced Laboratories Lab at the NASA Ames Laboratory, working under the supervision of Dr. Bin Chen. I am interested in Nanoscience, device physics, fiber optic solar cell, plasmonic devices, photonics, with applications in renewable energy and novel devices in optoelectronics and semiconductor science.
Things I'm currently working on..
- Fiber Optic Solar Cell
a Fiber Optic Solar Cell,
which simulates used a waveguide-like fiber that reflects the incident
light
into the absorbing layers of nanowires made of TiO2, PbS Quantum Dots,
and a polymer layers for the absorption of infared, ultraviolet, and
visible spectrum respectively. The long term goal is to make this
device comparable to the current efficiencies of planar PV cell.
